Debra Priestly is a visual artist whose work explores the memories and cultural preservation of Black history.  Her work has been widely exhibited in New York City and in the Hudson Valley, including a solo exhibition featured in 2020 at the 11 Jane St. Art Center in Saugerties New York. Her work is in collections in the Schomburg Center Research in Black Culture, the Pennsylvania Academy for the Fine Arts, among others. Throughout her career Debra Priestly has received printmaking and painting fellowships. She holds an MFA from Pratt Institute and teaches at Queens College, City University of New York.
