Born and raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn, Dominick has always been fascinated by the texture, motion, and energy of New York City. After completing the undergraduate and graduate program at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and working on Wall Street, he craved something deeper. He became a pilgrim of the world for a few years — renouncing his former life, going from one extreme to another. In 2012, Dominick returned to New York and began a new journey with painting. First, as a creative outlet. Then, as a means to deeply express his experience. Completely self-taught, Dominick's work embodies the mystical and spiritual – combining poetry, motion, color, and light to examine and reflect on the process of self-transformation and renewal.

He currently lives and works out of his studio in Kingston, NY.
