West Strand Art Gallery is pleased to present Figurative Images: Seeing and Being Seen, an exhibition featuring the work of three artists— Judith Brodsky, Rodriguez Calero, and Carmen Lizardo. Evoking female agency, intimacy, history, self-reflection, and the personal narrative in power to represent oneself, these artists consider the politics of seeing and being seen and how the art-making process may register empathy and resilience.
